[They haven't really had chance to talk since they spent the night in the same house, mostly because Rhys had been first Jack and then injured. Then Al had been forced to move off quickly in order to help House get the Joker away from other people, so he hadn't had chance to talk to Rhys.

He worried that his friend might think he's lost another companion, someone else to judge him for having Jack in his head. So he's determined to set that straight this evening.]

Hey, Rhys? I thought I'd see how you were feeling, I've been worried about you.

[ When he sees that he has a message from Al he steels himself for a round of questioning and, yes, judgement. And when that doesn't come, he's caught off-guard.

Al HAS to be mad at him. Angel said he wouldn't be, that he should've spent the night by his side, but he couldn't. Instead, he spent the night curled against the wall, not speaking with anyone, and scampering away as soon as lockdown ended.

So Rhys has no idea what to think, and that shows in the hesitation in his voice as he answers. ]
